Open Access Policy

Enki Journal for Humanities and Social Sciences is a fully open access journal. We believe that removing barriers to research strengthens the exchange of knowledge and widens its impact. All published articles are free to read, download, print, search and link to immediately upon publication, with no subscription, registration, fees or embargo.

License

All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). Anyone may copy and redistribute the article in any medium or format, and adapt and build upon it for any purpose, including commercial use, provided that appropriate credit is given to the author(s) and the original source (Enki Journal for Humanities and Social Sciences), a link to the license is provided, and any changes are indicated. Full license text: https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/

Author Rights

Authors retain copyright in their published work and are not asked to transfer it to the journal. Authors grant the journal the right of first publication and the right to make the work available to the public under the license above.

Self-Archiving

Authors may deposit the published version (PDF) in institutional repositories, on personal websites or in open repositories immediately upon publication, provided the original citation and a link to the article in the journal are included.

Fees

The journal charges no fees for submission, peer review or publication (see the "Publication Fees and Waivers" page). This has no bearing on editorial or peer review decisions: every submission undergoes double-blind peer review in accordance with the journal's published policies.

Persistent Identifiers

The journal uses the ARK persistent identifier scheme (ark:/42417) to support lasting citation of and linking to its publications.
