Archiving and Preservation Policy

Archiving and Preservation Policy

Enki Journal for Humanities and Social Sciences, and Enki Foundation for Studies and Research as its publisher, are committed to keeping the journal's published scholarly content accessible and preserved over the long term.

Permanent Access

All published issues and articles are available to read and download from the journal's Archives page at stable URLs, without embargo or fees, in accordance with the Open Access Policy. A published article is removed from the website only in the circumstances described in the Corrections and Retractions Policy.

Persistent Identifiers and Metadata Access

The journal uses the ARK persistent identifier scheme (ark:/42417) to support lasting citation of and linking to its publications. Article metadata is available for harvesting and indexing through the OAI-PMH protocol.

Author Self-Archiving

Authors may deposit the published version of their articles in institutional and open repositories, as set out in the Open Access Policy.

Continuity

The Foundation maintains a complete electronic copy of all published issues and their metadata. If the journal ceases publication or moves to another platform, the Foundation undertakes to keep the archive publicly accessible, to keep persistent links working or redirect them, and to deposit a copy of the archive in a trusted open digital repository.
