Abstract

This study seeks to discover the importance of the Middle East region for Turkey, especially in light of Turkey’s strategic orientations by redrawing and expanding its traditional geopolitical spheres of influence, driven by the tendency to revive the idea of a central state in the region. In addition, the study attempts to discover the circumstances that imposed this unfettered Turkish act directed towards its tendency towards geographical neighborhoods. This was manifested in the reasons cited by the study related to the historical ambitions that Turkey knew, and this appears by dedicating its right to the regions from which it was extracted. In this context, the study also reviewed the most important challenges facing Turkish movements in the region.
