The Image of the Popular Mobilization Forces on Social Media Sites "Facebook" as a model

The research dealt with the image of Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) in social media sites, and (Facebook) pages were selected to study their image,
The researcher counted the number of pages that have the title (PMF) with various names and phrases, and also dealt with the features of the image (PMF).
The research asked the following questions:
- What is the image of PMF on Facebook pages?
- What are the contents of this image?
- How many pages bearing the title (Al-Hashd Al-Sha’bi) with various names and phrases?
The researcher used the content analysis method to study the image of PMF, which used it with the qualitative and the quantitative analysis.
The research sample included Facebook pages throughout the period of 16, 17, 18 March 2017, at the height of the battles that the Iraqi security forces of all kinds were waging against the so-called (ISIS).
The research found that there are (983) pages on Facebook bearing the title (Al-Hashd Al-Shaabi), of which (308) pages were created by Iraqis on their own, and they publish daily news of the battles.
And (665) pages are groups and include thousands of followers and fans, and they publish news of battles.
The total number of pages bearing only the title of (Al-Hashd Al-Shaabi) reached (65) pages. It dealt with the liberation processes, and the heroic stories of leaders and soldiers, with hundreds of photos and videos, and the followers of one of these pages reached 166,706 followers and fans.
