Abstract

This study examines the dynamics of the relationship between ideological parties and the phenomenon of political stability, and the impact of this relationship on the effectiveness of foreign policy. It analyzes ideological parties as political actors whose behavior is shaped by intellectual and ideological frameworks that influence their perception of the state, society, and external relations. The study is based on the assumption that political stability is a fundamental condition for the success of the ruling party’s political project, and that such stability directly affects the state’s ability to formulate an active and influential foreign policy. Turkey, particularly the experience of the Justice and Development Party, is adopted as a model to demonstrate how balancing ideological references with the requirements of the modern state can enhance internal stability and expand regional and international roles. The study concludes that the effectiveness of foreign policy is closely linked to the ability of ruling parties to manage internal diversity and transform political stability into a strategic asset in the state’s external relations.
