Political behavior is considered one of the most important topics in political science and political sociology because it constitutes a form of social behavior in general. It may appear through political participation, political abstention, protest, demonstration, or other forms of expression. Political behavior focuses on activities related to governing, leading, organizing, and coordinating society in order to achieve its goals and satisfy the ambitions and aspirations of its members, provided that these ambitions and aspirations are consistent with the nature of the social system that the legislator or leadership seeks to strengthen and protect from internal and external dangers and challenges. At the same time, it works to consolidate, develop, and improve this system in service of its goals.
