Abstract

This research presents an overview of woman citizenship and identity argument, and what she experienced during the last historical era that enriched her experiences and highlighted her role rather than her struggle role. She challenged all community customs and traditions in order to defend her revolt which continued for more than a century, and to take her political and social role to be the first citizen in occupied Palestine, and her identity to be the main tool to save the heritage and the civilization of her grandparents and grandchildren.

The Palestinian woman suffers from the crisis of citizenship and identity, she experienced difficult stages as she fought in different wars whether they were political, security, economic, social, psychological or struggle and she lost a lot. She suffers identity discrimination which affects the Palestinian National Identity due to the narrowness of the security and political horizon and the absence of a national program and a collective national identity. The Palestinian division in each house with different titles, so the Palestinian woman restored to religious identity according to the erosion of the national state and its united ideology for all classes. The loss of land and the Palestinian diaspora imposed by the zionist Israel should not achieve the zionist occupation targets in negating or weakening the Palestinian identity, but we as women should rewrite history and save our popular and official material and moral heritage, as this is the key point in protecting the Palestinian National Identity.
