The Future of Smart Government in Iraq

Abstract

This study aims to monitor the impact of smart government on society and its components in the future. Smart government is a modern system adopted by governments through the use of advanced technologies and by making information accessible to individuals in order to create a transparent relationship characterized by speed and accuracy. It seeks to improve the quality of government performance, expand civic participation, and eliminate bureaucracy, which often hinders the rapid development of public services, through the provision of government data, personal and mobile computers, smart devices, and wired and wireless communications.
