Abstract

Political instability in Sudan represents one of the major challenges facing the state for decades, due to the interplay of internal and external factors, institutional weakness, and the multiplicity of power centers. The ongoing conflict between military and civilian components, along with social and ethnic divisions, has deepened economic and security crises, negatively affecting societal security and citizens’ daily lives. Moreover, regional and international interventions have further complicated the political scene, leaving Sudan in a state of political fragility that threatens its social fabric and hinders state-building efforts.
