The religious، ethnic، linguistic، ideological، and national diversity is a permanent characteristic that has accompanied humanity since ancient times. It has always influenced and been influenced by other elements of the internal and external environment. Because diversity is not limited to countries alone but also exists within a single state and city، most of the world's populations are divided into majorities and minorities. As many countries continue to experience political، security، and social instability، the relationship between the ruling majority and the governed minority can take various forms. Positively، this can manifest through granting these minorities a degree of freedom via agreements that regulate their specificities، or negatively through exclusion، repression، and even extermination، cleansing، and forced assimilation. This issue becomes even more dangerous with the emergence of ideologically driven terrorist groups opposing them، leading to continuous extermination and targeting that increases with the growing dominance of these groups. In this research، we will attempt to identify the nature of the threats faced by minorities in Iraq with the emergence of terrorist groups
