Abstract

     After 2003, the educational and educational institutions had realized the importance of curricula in shaping the social and political awareness of young people, Thus, these institutions worked to bring about very important changes in the kind of curricula, due to they were consistent and designed based on the previous regime's ideology "Ba'ath Regime" since the curricula expressed on the nature of the political regime at that time and its trends, which of course - educational curricula It formed a consciousness based on the glorification of the person of the ruler, away from democratic basics, and this comes from the nature of the system based on individualism in the ruling. Thus, the process of democratic transition that took place in Iraq after 2003, imposed on the new political regime to adopt educational curricula consistent with this transition. However, the arrangements weren't processed without challenges.
